ABOUT Loud-HER:

What is Loud-HER?

Loud-HER is a protected space for girls (or anyone identifying with the issues young women face) aged 11 to 15 to share their stories. Whether it’s bullying on social media, peer pressure, troubling appearance ideals or just if you need reassurance, here at Loud-HER people listen! And your voice WILL be heard.

Our GOAL:

Our goal is to build a community in which young people can see that they are not alone and ultimately feel good in their own skin. We hope to empower this community and to build confidence.

What does the name Loud-HER mean?

Loud-HER means that we as females deserve to be heard and are louder together and can feel safe to talk about our experiences anonymously.

What is the aim of posting these submissions?

This part of our goal to make a safe space for teens so they can share their stories and read others too. Hopefully reading these submissions, we expose the reality of teen girl’s lives and we hope to make our reader’s feel that they are not alone.

Where can I submit my story?

You can submit your story on our SUBMISSIONS page. We cannot process or receive submissions if not sent through this website

What happens after I submit my story?

Your submission will be sent to us and will be proof read before posted. We will make sure that everything (e.g names and dates) is anonymous before posting. Once your submission has been proof read, your submission can be posted.

What if I want my submission removed?

If you want to remove your submission, go to our REMOVE SUBMISSION page and enter your details. If your information corresponds to that of the original submission, you should expect your submission to be removed as soon as possible.

How do you handle my personal data?

Please visit our privacy policy page for all the information, but rest assured we do everything possible to protect your data and promise to eliminate your data immediately on request.
